I built this app for a dance studio in Basel, where it's used in every class. The teacher takes attendance with one tap, knows who still has to pay and whose pass is running out, and sees the month's figures without doing any sums.

About me

I'm Hugo Marinho

I'm Portuguese and I live in Basel. I've worked in IT for more than 12 years, and I build apps for small businesses, because that's where a well-made app makes the biggest difference.

I talk to you, I learn how you work, and I'm responsible for your app. If anything doesn't work, I'm the one you message, and I reply the same day.

Questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. The app opens from a link. Anyone who wants can add it to their home screen in two taps, and it works like any other app, on iPhone or Android.

My team isn't into technology. Will they manage?

That's who it's made for: big buttons, few words and each person's own language. If they can use WhatsApp, they can use the app.

Where is the data kept?

On servers in Europe, backed up every day. The data is yours: you can take it in Excel whenever you like.

Can I ask for changes later?

Yes. One small change a month, up to an hour's work, is included. For bigger changes, I tell you the price before I start.

What if something stops working?

Message me on WhatsApp. I reply the same day and, if it's a problem with the app, I fix it within 2 working days. It isn't a round-the-clock emergency service.

What if I want to stop?

Cancel with a month's notice and I'll hand you all your data in Excel. No lock-in.

Why is the first version free?

Because it's easier to decide when you can already see the app with your business's name on it. If it isn't right for you, you pay nothing and that's that.
